Pipe-mounted overfill prevention device

The overfill prevention device is a mechanically operated safety device that does not require auxiliary energy and prevents a liquid-filled system (e.g. tank) from being filled beyond the permissible level.

The closure is ensured by a valve disc rotating along a horizontal axis.

The valve plate remains in a vertical position during filling. This position is ensured by a "door" located inside the housing, which, after the overfill prevention device has been installed, tilts onto the inner surface of the housing, pushing the float out of the housing and thus keeping the valve plate in a vertical position. The other function of the "door" is to close the opening in the housing so that the liquid can only enter the tank through the lower end of the filling pipe.
