The F-D/F-L type liquid-filled detonation arrestor is a protective system designed to prevent the spread of flames, deflagration (explosion) or detonation occurring in the pipe at the installation site to the protected tank or equipment (MSZ EN 12874:2001 specifications for liquid-filled detonation arresters). The installation location is a pipeline that only transports liquids that can create an explosive vapor/(gas)-air mixture classified as group IIB3. The amount of liquid remaining in the assembly provides the protective effect of the assembly!
