Floating ball valve

A float valve is a device that uses the buoyancy of a liquid to close the valve with the help of a float ball when the liquid rises above a certain level. The purpose of the ball valve is to allow gases to flow freely from the tank during filling or emptying, but if, due to a malfunction, the level controller does not shut off during filling, the ball valve prevents the liquid from flowing out of the tank or, in the case of a connected gas system, prevents the mixing of different substances (gasoline, diesel).

Available sizes: DN40 – DN50

The stainless steel float ball is held in place by a wire cage, also made of stainless steel, near the end of the pipeline to be sealed. The materials used in the components ensure that no sparks can be generated between them under any circumstances.
