FF-BLS

Weight-loaded intake valve for vacuum. Intake occurs from the external environment. Opening pressure value from -4.5 mbar to -50 mbar.

Available sizes: DN15 – DN300

The intake valve is a fitting that limits the vacuum formed within a system when this parameter reaches or exceeds a predetermined value relative to atmospheric pressure. The suction side of the valve is a weight valve, and the tight seal is ensured by properly ground elements (valve body and valve seat).

On the intake side, there is a hole (valve seat) closed by the intake valve body in a specially designed housing. If the vacuum value rises above a specified pressure value, the valve body is lifted by the suction force of the system, allowing air to flow freely. In the event of overpressure, the valve body closes by pressing against the edge of the valve seat.

By changing the weight of the valve body, the valve opening pressure can be adjusted to the desired value between -3.5 and -100 mbar during production. It is also possible to set a higher opening pressure of up to -200 mbar, but in this case the free cross-section must be reduced, and the resulting increase in pressure loss must be taken into account.
